Bill is actively engaged in business development, building the firm’s overall practice in the San Francisco area. Bill also works extensively with the overseas member firms of our global affiliation with 412 offices in 92 countries.
Separately, Bill is an ownership transition adviser for company owners. He works on sales, acquisitions and the re-capitalization of privately-held companies.
Bill was previously a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and started his career at Bank of America. Originally from London, England, Bill graduated from San Jose State University and then went on to earn his MBA at Thunderbird Graduate School in Arizona. He frequently lectures on M&A sell-side prep and due diligence at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, and previously taught accounting at Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Bill is currently President of San Francisco’s Hillhouse Club.
On a personal note, Bill plays guitar in a rock band, cooks paella, travels widely and enjoys golf.
