Investment options: Regulation, fiduciary duty, monitoring and more…
“From proper plan design to prudent investment options, our business clients sponsoring employee retirement plans are faced with many compliance and operational responsibilities. Monitoring investment options provided to employees is an important aspect of their investment and fiduciary duties. We audit over 100 employee benefit plans each year and see our clients’ plan retirement committees structuring and monitoring appropriate investment menus. Target-date funds give our clients a good option that simplifies investment choices for employees and provides them the benefit of professional management to help them achieve a financially secure retirement.”
