Liza’s clients include manufacturers; distributors and wholesalers; retailers; and a variety of service companies, including transportation and logistics, shipping and professional services.
Liza was born and raised in the Philippines, where she worked with SGV & Co, an affiliate of Ernst & Young, as a director of their Audit and Business Advisory department.
Liza obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, with a major in Accounting, from Saint Louis University, Philippines, graduating Cum Laude.

“The DOL recently communicated with all plan administrators of plans required to have an annual financial statement audit, alerting them of the importance of obtaining a quality audit from a qualified and experienced CPA firm. Selecting a qualified CPA who has the expertise to perform an audit in accordance with professional auditing standards is a critical responsibility in safeguarding the plan’s assets and ensuring compliance with ERISA’s reporting and fiduciary requirements. Employee benefit plan audits have unique audit and reporting requirements that are different from other financial audits, and substandard audit work can be costly to plan administrators and sponsors.”
