Emily Tsai, CPA, is a Tax Manager with over nine years of experience, specializing in tax planning, compliance, and consulting with a focus on high net worth clients. At Shea Labagh Dobberstein, Emily prepares and reviews tax returns; including returns for sophisticated individuals, large real estate partnerships, trusts, and corporations. She takes pride in delivering high-quality work and providing excellent client service.

Previously, Emily worked at Seiler, LLP as a Tax Supervisor, and she helped ultra-high net worth families and large real estate groups on tax planning and compliance.

Emily graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Master of Science in Accounting and National Central University (Taiwan) with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). She serves as a Board Director of CalCPA with the Peninsula/Silicon Valley Chapter.

Originally from Taiwan, Emily and her husband, Zak, have two lovely furbabies: Lily (cat) and Molly (dog). In her free time, she enjoys swimming and hot yoga.
