Daniel “Joey” Stokes has over 15 years of accounting experience. As a COR2E Accounting Manager, he manages law firm clients (trust accounting), as well as clients in the professional services industry. He assists with new client on-boarding assessment of needs, and implementation of new processes and systems integration. This includes conversion and setup of accounting, HR and payroll systems, data migration and mapping, and chart of accounts.
Joey previously worked as a Staff Accountant for Pharmatech Associates in Hayward and Radiant Images in Los Angeles. Before this, he co-founded a wholesale landscape nursery in Louisiana, and worked as an office manager/accountant/HR manager for a landscape contractor for ten years.
In Louisiana, Joey attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU). He graduated SELU with a Bachelor in Business Administration/Management, concentration in Entrepreneurship. Joey is a certified ProAdvisor for Intuit QuickBooks and certified in Bill.com. He has systems knowledge in 30+ accounting, timekeeping, expense, payroll and HR-related programs.
Joey enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a movie buff, and loves to travel and explore new places.
