Lawrence Jeong

Senior Tax Manager

San Francisco

Lawrence has sixteen years of experience in public accounting specializing in tax work for small businesses and high net worth individuals.

While Lawrence has always concentrated on tax, he has been exposed to work within audit throughout his career, even working with McGladrey’s Mountain View office as an audit supervisor. This experience lends him a different perspective that his tax clients appreciate. Lawrence is passionate about helping clients with the numbers in their business so that they can grow faster.

Lawrence has a double bachelor’s degree: a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Philosophy from Kyung Hee University in South Korea. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He currently volunteers as an accountant for the Gubbio Project, a nonprofit outreach program for the homeless. He previously served as Treasurer of KMVT, a TV station serving the community of Mountain View, and worked as an IRS Tax Volunteer to provide free tax help for low-to-moderate income families in the community.

Lawrence is originally from South Korea and enjoys spending time with his wife and five-year-old daughter, as well as paddleboarding and windsurfing. In the past, he completed several half marathons and marathons, but now participates in Sunday runs with the Dolphin South End (DSE) Runners, the oldest and largest running club in San Francisco.
