Lawrence F. Villegas, MSA, brings 15 years of hands-on, non-profit accounting experience and an acquired understanding of sophisticated information systems to his role as a COR2E Accounting Manager. Lawrence is focused on closely monitoring grant spending, restricted fund balances, and well documented monthly closes.
As a former Director of Finance and Operations for Oakes Children’s Center (with a $5M operating budget) and prior Accounting Manager at Edgewood Center (with a $30M budget), Lawrence managed daily fiscal operations, monthly financial reporting, and all annual audits, including a rigorous A-133 audit encompassing 120 cost centers and many complex governmental grants. He developed his attention for all numerical details during his first role as an auditor for KPMG.
Lawrence earned a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from San Francisco State University, enabling him to facilitate and supervise new system implementations and integrations.
During his free time, Lawrence enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Additionally, Lawrence has been a vocal coordinator/choir leader at his church in Daly City for the past 20 years.
