Marc Armstrong, CPA, CFA, MBT, has nearly twenty years of tax experience in both private and public sectors, serving diverse clients, from multinational corporations to high-net-worth individuals. He specializes in working with clients in the real estate, manufacturing and technology industries.

Prior to joining SLD, Marc’s career included six years within the Big Four public accounting industry at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Over his career, he has transitioned to smaller firms where he has had the opportunity to make a greater impact on his clients and their businesses. He also headed the tax department of a business management firm in Beverly Hills, performing all aspects of the tax function for entertainment clients, and small businesses and their owners, including: tax compliance, tax planning and accounting practices.

Marc earned a Master of Business Taxation, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business with an emphasis in Information Systems, from University of Southern California’s Leventhal School of Accounting. Marc is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He is also on the Taxation committee for CalCPA, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
