San Francisco, CA – Shea Labagh Dobberstein, a leading CPA firm headquartered in San Francisco, CA, is pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Buttery, CPA to Principal, effective January 1, 2015.
Buttery has nearly fifteen years of experience in public accounting advising privately-held corporations and non-profit organizations on audit and accounting matters. He joined Shea Labagh Dobberstein in 2001 as an Associate and transitioned into the role of Director. Since then, he has played a key role in improving the firm’s best practices. As a trusted business advisor, Buttery focuses on client service and working as a partner within his clients’ organizations to help them achieve their objectives. In addition to his client service activities, he will increase his strategic participation in the firm’s growth in his expanded role.

Buttery is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and currently serves as a director of The Guardsmen, a non-profit organization that raises money to help disadvantaged children. He is a certified public accountant with the California State Board of Accountancy. Buttery earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Economics with a concentration in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
